I wanted to tell you how closely Ive kept The memories of you in my heart And all of the lifetimes that we've had to share Live even though we're apart
But don't cry for me 'Cause I'm finally free
To run with the angels On streets made of gold To listen to stories of saints new and old To worship our Maker That's where I'll be When you finally find me
Now don't you be weary cause waiting for you Are wonders that you've never known Just hold on to Jesus, reach out for His hands And one day they'll welcome you home
And that's when you'll be Finally Free Finally Free
I wish you were here
And all of the dreams that you treasure Will soon come together And that's when your sorrow will find tomorrow And you will rise again
Did Jesus really live again? Yes, when the third day came, He wakened and he left the tomb; He called Mary's name. Did Jesus come to those he loved? Yes, people touched his feet, And of the fish and honeycomb He did truly eat. And there were nail-prints in his hands. And a spear wound in his side. Did Jesus really live again after he had died? Oh yes! And so shall I! -lyrics, Mabel Jones Gabbott,1910 The words of this song have been with me for the last couple of days and the first thing I thought about this morning was Eva... I think I knew before I hit the link. May our Heavenly Father send comfort and peace to your family in your hour of need. -families are forever- with love, Sheila in NV

I just came across your blog today via the Sams blog and am so sorry to hear about your loss. When I saw your collage, I just had to write because my brother-in-law drew the painting of the fetus in God's hands. We had a copy of it that we posted on our little guy's NICU bed for the 9 weeks he spent on the earth with us. It was such a precious reminder that God was holding him in His hands and that He was in control. I know the grief and pain of loss, and that picture continues to remind me that He holds my life in His care as well. May you be blessed with incredible peace, comfort that only He can give, and strength for tomorrow. Jesus is the only one who can make sense of the pain and He is faithful.
My heart breaks for your family, yet I cannot help but smile and think what a blessing when I see all of these pricesless pictures of all of you together. May God hold your baby girl close, and all of you! Kim
I am so sorry to read of your loss. I will continue to hold your family up in prayer. Though I cannot imagine how hard it is for you right now, I am sure it brings some comfort to know that if she wasn't able to spend Easter with you, who better to spend it with than Him! She is healed and in His loving arms!
I am thinking about you on this Monday morning and praying for you sweet friend. I wish I could be there for Eva's memorial but live too far away. I will be with you in spirit, praying for the day to be blessed. Eva has sure blessed my life and faith and will continue to do so. I love you Chrissy and wish I could just give you a huge Love Hug for your broken heart, Vinnie, Mya and Dominic's too. Eva is so loved.
My prayers and love go out to you and your family. May God continue to protect you and your family and give you comfort and strength. Praise the Lord that you were able to be with your sweet little Eva and make many memories.
Praying for you, Vinnie, Mya, and Dominic at this time. Thank you for sharing this journey with us. Eva is truly an angel...a very beautiful one I might add!!
Praying for you today Chrissy, as you celebrate Eva's precious life that has impacted so many so far, and she has just begun. I love you guys and my heart is heavy for yours.

Blessed mom of 7 ❤️ Dmitri 6.2015, Divino 9.2013, Deluca 10.2011, Dante 2.2009, Eva 3.17.08 (on 3.23.08 @ 2:57 AM ~ Eva went from my chest to the arms of Jesus), Mya 7.2000 & Dominic 5.1996. Eva, the 5th member of our family, was a true blessing from God for 5 days, 18 hrs and 10 minutes. At 13 wks of pregnancy, she was diagnosed with full Trisomy 18. And need I not forget Vinnie, father of 4 of my children, my best friend of 18 yrs, and my ROCK throughout it all. He has been nothing but supportive throughout the entire storm. I couldn't imagine going through this w/ anyone but him. Eva has changed our lives forever. I praise God for Eva and am thankful and grateful for every second we shared w/ her. I will cherish those memories forever. Until we meet again Eva. Mommy loves you! While in Atlanta, 6.27.08, surrounded by my "blog girls", is when I found out that we were expecting Dante. Our due date was 3.6.09, 11 short days before Eva's 1st birthday. My prayers after saying good-bye to Eva were more like begging God for new life. Then, I was still begging God…for a perfect, healthy baby that would get to come home and outlive me. I hope to never bury one of my children EVER again.
