Eva's Notice...

COPPOLELLA
EVA JANETTE
On Sun. Mar. 23, 2008 at 2:57am, Eva earned her wings. She went from her Mother's chest to the arms of her Heavenly Father. The fifth member of her family, Eva was a blessing from God for 5 whole days, 18 whole hours and 10 whole minutes. She is now healed and has been made whole! All in His timing! She is survived by her parents, Chrissy and Vinnie, brother Dominic and sister Mya. Granddaughter of Albert Gazzo, Ruth Mullennix, James and the late Janet Coppolella. Great granddaughter of Donice Fogle. Niece of Barbie and Rick Zapata and cousin of Zach and Jake. Also survived by numerous family and friends. Those touched by Eva are encouraged to join her family in the celebration of her life on Tues. 2-4 & 7-9pm at SOXMAN FUNERAL HOMES, LTD./ ROTH CHAPEL 7450 Saltsburg Road (at Universal Rd). Penn Hills, 412-793-3000, where a service will be held Wed., time TBA. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to:
The Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep Foundation,
7800 S Elati St. #111
Littleton, CO 80120.

I know this might come as a shock to myblog family but don't allow it to. Eva and Mya have Vinnie's last name, I do not. Therefore, you'll notice her last name is Coppolella. The hospital always give the baby (while admitted) Mom's last name.

Chrissy,

I am so sorry for your loss. I find myself at a loss for words. Eva has touched so many lives in such a short time here. She is a beautiful angel and each of us were blessed to know her. Thank you for sharing her with us. You have given us a gift in her. She is blessed to have such an extraordinary mother and wonderful family just as you all are blessed to have such a miracle grace your lives. I continue to pray for your family. Please know she is smiling on all of you and loving her family and she is in peace.

She's one beautiful ANGEL!! I'm sorry I didn't get to meet her, although with all the blog updates & pics(I don't know how you managed)I feel as if I did know her.
I will continue to pray for you , Vinnie & the children and I know God will continue to guide & comfort you all.
Just as you & your family were blessed with the time you had with Eva, Eva was also blessed to have been born into such a loving family.

Dear Chrissy and Vinnie - While I rejoice with you that your precious daughter, Eva, has been healed in Heaven, I imagine that you must feel sadness that she is gone from your loving arms.

I continue to pray for both of you, Dominic, Mya and your family as you celebrate the life of Eva. She has touched more people with the love of God than most will do in many years of earthly life. With love - Lynne B.

Hi! I have been following your blog (through Tristan's blog) for several months now and feel like I am grown to know your precious family. Your family is in my prayers but rest assured that little Eva is having a grand ol' time in Heaven!! I have family in Pittsburgh (I live in FL) and we just lost our grandfather just over a year ago. We had his service at Soxman Funeral as well. They are so compassionate and respectful. They do a great job! No chance you know the Charrie clan, do ya? :-) You all are great warriors. Keep up the faith!!!

What a perfect announcement.
I can't truly understand your pain, but I am so thankful that Eva is no longer suffering and that she is in the arms of Jesus and on Easter too! I pray that the Lord will greatly minister to your hearts as you grieve your loss.
May the hope of your reunion in Heaven bring you peace and may the Lord restore your joy. Your precious daughter touched more lives in her short time on earth that many people do in a lifetime.
Blessings to your family,
